We started the day with positivity through our morning message. We then completed a daily edit and discussed how past tense words may change with just adding 'ed/d' or completely changing the word.
During daily 5 students read to themselves followed by writing in a journal entry of what is happening around the world in regards to COVID-19. How are they feeling, what is happening at school/ home, etc. (I encourage all students to begin to write in a journal everyday to document what is happening). During math we reviewed vertices, edges, and faces of 3D shapes - tomorrow we will turn flat nets into 3D shapes! In the afternoon we practiced rehearsing our reader's theaters of idioms, and ended the day with a guided drawing. Agenda: 1. Wear green tomorrow 2. Always wash your hands!
